Riverstone Carriage Tours

Choose from one of our several tours through the enchanting Riverstone Estate, as well as the river trails located in Foxburg Pennsylvania.  Travel by horse and carriage to experience the peace, serenity, and grandeur that exist to this day from the pioneering legacy of the many Fox generations to the wonderful vision of current owners, Arthur and Patricia Steffee.

Farm Tour:      $30 per person ($5 for children 12 and under).

Forest Tour:     $30 per person ($5 for children 12 and under).

Private Tour:      $40 person ($10 for children 12 and under).

 All tours last approximately 2 hours

F arm Tour:  See the historic Riverstone Estate – with a close-up tour of one of the largest private estates in Pennsylvania.  This tour includes a carriage ride from the famous “H” barns, along a mile-long country lane to the regal grounds of the estate itself where you’ll witness the breath-taking beauty of the Fox mansion that had its first stone blocks set back in 1825 to the current transformation instituted by owners Arthur and Patricia Steffee.

This tour will take you back to the beginning to an area that was first settled by the original founders of Foxburg – the Fox family who arrived here in the early 1800’s and helped create the wonderland that it is today.  Listen to the stories be told of old and new as we pass many relics of the past, as-well-as current farming operations.   

This is an experience for all ages that allow everyone to see the unique and intriguing outbuildings that exist on the property and the animals that dwell within.  Don’t miss an opportunity to experience man and natures handy work at its finest.

Forest Tour:       Take a relaxing ride through the 1500 forested acres of the Riverstone Estate.  See nature in an intimate, yet grand scale and visit the many wooded habitats that exist on this land, as-well-as the flora and fauna that reside there.  There is always a surprise around each bend of the trail, whether it a wandering fawn, an elusive warbler, an indigenous wildflower, or a majestic 200+ year old trees.  Bring your camera to capture the moment you first set eyes on the vistas provided along the ridge trails overlooking both the Clarion and Allegheny Rivers – the only place where you’ll find such overlooks.
